Join in this March 2025

NZ Football in conjunction with Mainland Football are excited to announce Girls and Women's Football Month in March!

This is a nationwide campaign to celebrate and grow the involvement of women and girls in football. This is an awesome opportunity for your club to showcase its support for girls'and women’s football, attract new members, and celebrate the contributions of your amazing players, coaches, referees, and volunteers.

Do you and your club or school want to host an event or need help?
Mainland Football can support with events, provide prizes, posters and more giveaways.

If you’ve got an idea for an event that you think your club, school or community group could run to be a part of Girls and Women’s Month, please contact katie.a@mff.nz

Fantails is growing, with four new clubs now delivering the programme in their local communities: Halswell United AFC, Nomads United AFC, Ferrymead Bays FC, and Ōtakaro FC.

Cashmere Technical FC are also back delivering again this year! This means more chances for girls to play football in a fun, supportive, girls-only environment.

Sign up now and join in the fun!

Fantails sessions are back for Term 2!
Mondays – Avon Hub (Ōtakaro FC)
Wednesdays – Rāwhiti Domain Hub (Ōtakaro FC)
Wednesdays – Somerfield Park Hub (Cashmere Technical)
