COMMUNITY FOOTBALL POSTPONED - CANTERBURY - June 28-30th

Please be advised that we have made the tough decision to postpone all community football this weekend in Canterbury. Based on the feedback provided by Councils and our member Clubs, the overwhelming majority advised that the grounds were extremely soft with puddling water and would likely be damaged for the season if we were to go ahead.

We know this will be disappointing, but with it being Matariki, we hope this provides an opportunity for families to rest up and spend some quality time together!

Please note that the following competitions will be going ahead this weekend, with some games being moved to the turfs where required:

• South Island League (womens)
• Southern League (mens)
• New World Womens Premiership
• Whero Cup
• Canterbury Development Leagues (13/14/15/17)
