Mainland Football are proud to announce that New World have extended their partnership with us with a new multi-year deal.

New World are locally owned and operated and have supported football in the Mainland region for four years now. The partnership will see New World continue as the Naming Rights Sponsor of the Men’s and Women’s Premiership and Championship Competitions, and our Canterbury United Pride representative team that proudly boast the New World logo on the front of their playing jersey. 

New World owner James Turner states that “New World since its inception in 1963 has a proud history of supporting local and being part of the community. Football being the much loved and growing sport that it is makes for an opportunity to have a great relationship between Mainland Football and the 14 Greater Christchurch New World stores.”

Speaking on the partnership, Mainland Football CEO Martin Field-Dodgson said  “We are thrilled that our friends at New World have come back on board as a key partner for football in the region, especially as they are a locally owned and operated business that see’s the value in giving back to the community”.
